Music for Clean Water

Music for Clean Water is curated by Jonas Geiger Ohlin for Wormhole World Records.

On average, 144 litres of water per person per day is supplied to households in Europe.

20 litres per person per day is the minimum amount of water the UN Refugee Agency aims to provide for every refugee living in a refugee camp around the world. By their own estimates, less then half of all refugee camps around the world manages to full fill this. the 20 litre of clean water is meant to cover drinking water, cooking food, washing oneself and cleaning clothes.

World Water Day is held on the 22nd of march every year since 1993 and focuses on the importance of freshwater. The idea with World Water Day is to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people in the world living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis.

Proceeds from Music for Clean Water go to WaterAid.

Includes my song ā€œEventide Lakeshore Mystery Alarm.ā€
