“Harm” in Adjusting the Lens Fest tonight

Unrequited Leisure’s Adjusting the Lens Fest includes my video for “Harm.” Catch it on YouTube (or below) tonight at 6pm CST. Tonight’s program also includes videos by Jason Bernagozzi, Keaton Fox, Lena Chen, Molly Baber, Erica Merritt, Parker Phelps, Aaron Oldenburg, Mark Franz, Barrett White, Lex Turnbull, Eric Souther, Klypi, and Lyndsey Walsh. And if you’re in Nashville, you can see the whole thing at 507 Hagan St December 3-6, 11am-6pm (11am-9pm on Saturday 12/5).

About Adjusting the Lens: FEST:
This screening program brings together a diverse group of regional, national, and internationally recognized artists, selected by the team at Unrequited Leisure. Adjusting the Lens is a series of traveling screening events started in 2018 by Clint Sleeper and Chalet Comellas Baker.

These events are organized around thematic selections of works and have been presented in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues. This year we are launching a hybrid version of the project, featuring new online programming each day along with a presentation of the full program running on loop in our physical gallery space, Unrequited Leisure, in Nashville, TN.

This weekend, Unrequited Leisure’s Adjusting the Lens: FEST! will be showing online and at the UL gallery in Nashville, Tennessee. From the organizers:

Adjusting the Lens is a series of traveling screening events started in 2018. These events are organized around thematic selections of works and have been presented in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues. This year we are launching a hybrid version of the project, featuring online live programming along with a presentation of the full program running on loop in our physical gallery space.

This year’s festival includes the video for my song “Harm” off Farewell, Doomed Planet!

The FEST! begins Thursday, December 3, at 6PM CT. Gallery Hours for Adjusting the Lens: FEST!

  • Friday December 4, 2020: 11am – 6pm
  • Saturday December 5, 2020: 11am – 6pm
  • Sunday December 6, 2020: 1pm – 6pm

Tonight! Hot Steam Film Fest

Tonight is the premiere of Episode 5 of the Hot Steam III film festival, “an initiative that aims to marry topics in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) through communal listening, watching, and learning. It is a Cambridge Community Television production that brings international video artworks to the city of Cambridge and beyond.”

Episode 5 includes my music video for “Human Research Roadmap” and will premiere on the Hot Steam website, plus all five episodes will also screen tonight at Starlight Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts at 7pm EST. Catch episodes 1-4 in preparation.

Hot Steam III Film Festival

My music video for “Human Research Roadmap” is part of the Hot Steam III film festival. From their website, “HOT STEAM 03 is an initiative that aims to marry topics in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) through communal listening, watching, and learning. It is a Cambridge Community Television production that brings international video artworks to the city of Cambridge and beyond.”

Episodes premiere every Tuesday night in September on Cambridge Community Television‘s Channel 8 and on the Hot Steam website at 7pm EST. My video will be in Episode 5, “Crowd Control,” which premieres September 29 , plus all five episodes will also screen that night at Starlight Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts at 7pm EST.

Episode 1 is available now, and I’m honored to be included in such an original and timely body of work.
