Beau Travail on CKUT Julia Kent guest mix

A million thanks to one of MY favorite artists, the incredible cellist/composer Julia Kent, for including “Beau Travail” in her recent guest mix for CKUT’s Free City Radio. The mix also includes songs by Sarah Davachi, Okkyung Lee, Fatima Al Qadiri, and more.

Julia describes the mix as, “Music from artists who have inspired and consoled me during this strange time, who have enabled me to travel without moving, and find a sense of connection through sound. In all these tracks I feel a sense of opening into something that transcends boundaries.”

Cosmic Church of I Heart Noise and The Thursday Bazaar with Julia Kent

I’m so flattered that the transcendent composer/cellist Julia Kent selected my “Trinity Quadrant Cantata” as one of her two picks for Radio Free Matlock’s Thursday Bazaar with Lippy Kidd last week. Catch the recap on Mixcloud or below:

And a huge thank you to Ilya from one of my favorite music blogs, I Heart Noise, for including my Gertrude Stein rap (lol) on the Camp Radio show Cosmic Church, also now on Mixcloud and with annotated tracklist on the blog:
