About Adjusting the Lens: FEST:
This screening program brings together a diverse group of regional, national, and internationally recognized artists, selected by the team at Unrequited Leisure. Adjusting the Lens is a series of traveling screening events started in 2018 by Clint Sleeper and Chalet Comellas Baker.
These events are organized around thematic selections of works and have been presented in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues. This year we are launching a hybrid version of the project, featuring new online programming each day along with a presentation of the full program running on loop in our physical gallery space, Unrequited Leisure, in Nashville, TN.
Starchild in °PIXI mix for Daddies on Acid
Pixi put together this very cool “ambient/ritual/psychedelic mix” for Daddies on Acid that includes “Starchild” by Xqui and me. There’s also a video on archive.org that includes visuals by Pixelflower (NSFW).

Stay Safe Remixed by Xqui
My friend, the wonderful UK artist Xqui, has honored me by remixing “Stay Safe” and “Cohntagious” from my Stay Safe EP. Available as a pay-what-you-want download on Bandcamp!
Cosmic Church of I Heart Noise and The Thursday Bazaar with Julia Kent
I’m so flattered that the transcendent composer/cellist Julia Kent selected my “Trinity Quadrant Cantata” as one of her two picks for Radio Free Matlock’s Thursday Bazaar with Lippy Kidd last week. Catch the recap on Mixcloud or below:
And a huge thank you to Ilya from one of my favorite music blogs, I Heart Noise, for including my Gertrude Stein rap (lol) on the Camp Radio show Cosmic Church, also now on Mixcloud and with annotated tracklist on the blog:
Radiophrenia premiere, Saturday November 21
I have a brand new piece premiering this weekend as part of Glasgow’s Radiophrenia, “a temporary art radio station – a two-week exploration into current trends in sound and transmission arts.”
Radiophrenia runs November 9-22, 24 hours a day. My piece, “Liminal Telegraphy,” premieres Saturday November 21 between 8AM-9AM GMT (or 2AM-3AM CST) as part of the “Shorts 27” program.
“Liminal Telegraphy” is a sound collage that explores the space between radio frequencies, a ghostly soundscape emanating phantom frequencies and causing the listener to question what they’re hearing versus what they’re imagining.
See the full program at the Radiophrenia website.
Tapeta Lucida, The Moderns, and Urban Mutant
Spent today catching up on listening and I’m so glad I did. Both Tapeta Lucida on North State Public Radio and The Moderns on Radio Regent programmed “Blue Moon Frequency #2b [Fall Mix]“, my remix with Geiger Von Müller, on their wonderful shows recently. And DJ BLeeK made a very cool “bittersweet fantasy soundtrack to Ocean Shores Washington’s legendary shipwreck” for the Urban Mutant show on Hollow Earth Radio that includes my “Silent Space Scream” off Music the DMV. Listen to everything via Mixcloud below.
Tapeta Lucida, Dark Train, Revival Synth, and Radiophrenia!
Lots going on this week! Including…
- “Blue Moon Frequency #2b [Fall Mix]” on North State Public Radio’s Tapeta Lucida, Sunday November 8 10PM-12AM PST (or Monday November 9th 12AM-2AM CST)
- “Stay Safe” on Warminster Community Radio’s Dark Train with Kate Bosworth, Monday November 9, 10PM-12AM GMT (or 4PM-6PM CST)
I also have a brand new work (!) as part of Glasgow’s Radiophrenia, “a temporary art radio station – a two-week exploration into current trends in sound and transmission arts.” Radiophrenia runs November 9-22, 24 hours a day. My piece, “Liminal Telegraphy,” premieres Saturday November 21 between 8AM-9AM GMT (or 2AM-3AM CST). More on that soon, and check out the full program at the Radiophrenia website.
And finally, thanks to Revival Synth for including “Stay Safe” as a Track of the Week.
